today i have learnt how to do short devision with a fractional remainder,
this task is much much similar to normal short division but there is a twist you dont just have a remainder you have got to turn the remainder into a fraction heres a example (i hope it helps) 4 divided by 345, first we cant divide 4 into 3 so we need to make it 34, so 4 divided by 34 equals 8, yes that might be 32 but we put the remainder of numbers onto the next number so instead of 5 its 25 so 4 divided by 25 equals 6 with a remainder 1, we then make this a fraction so then we make remainder 1, 1/4.
