today i have learnt how to do short devision with a fractional remainder,
this task is much much similar to normal short division but there is a twist you dont just have a remainder you have got to turn the remainder into a fraction heres a example (i hope it helps) 4 divided by 345, first we cant divide 4 into 3 so we need to make it 34, so 4 divided by 34 equals 8, yes that might be 32 but we put the remainder of numbers onto the next number so instead of 5 its 25 so 4 divided by 25 equals 6 with a remainder 1, we then make this a fraction so then we make remainder 1, 1/4.

Tie Dye T-shirts
With my stencil i got peeved off but i kept trying my best not to cut out the wrong parts. I got dissapointed when i cut the edges out but the end result made up for it. The hard work i put into it was all worth it. When I printed the stencil on my t-shirt it was so great. I think it is so intricate and precise how i did this i am so proud of it. Thanks Mr wood for helping and guiding me on the stencil.

REFLECTION
today i tried to problems on To The Wire. problem 1, draw 5 straight lines that eventually all add up to the right number. problem 2, finding out how much profit someone made by selling their guitars. problem 1 i failed 2 times but these failures told me what i was doing wrong and that i couldnt use these numbers. problem 2 i failed 1 time and this has told me that using a subtracting method wont work.

Find the lowest common multiples, Square root, volume format(calling it that), adding fractions and multiplying fractions.

Got it hack!!!
Here is a video I made about playing a maths game called Got It! If you follow my(ahem! i mean Gertrude's) simple strategy you'll win every single time, amazing isn't it?
War
This week i have learnt, that war is completely pointless and wastes so much lives, and kills innocents in the progress, like woman and children, dogs and cats and many more. Although someone has won a war… what’s the cost?? Hundreds, thousands, even millions of lives taken because one stupid person would start a war.
The books we read were The Enemy by Davide Cali And Home & Away by John Marsden.my favourite book is home and away because it was vivid and abit emotional at some stages thinking about how it was for them and losing there family members one at a time.

Maths
i recently have been doing maths. i have got 100% on equivalent fractions, but i am also struggling with simplifying fractions with decimals etc. also converting decimals into percentages, but i am successful with converting fractions into percentages like 3/10=30% but converting decimals into fractions is abit more difficult.

My Maths Learning
My DLO for the week/month or term would be maths. Mrs Hooker and Abi have helped me alot in maths and taught me new things for example. Mrs Hooker taught me adding decimals, Abi taught me Short Division, and they both taught me Perimeter and Area along with multiplication and Teresa taught me prime and composites.

1st draft
The camp was not the best or even near a fun camp, it was all extremely boring but the exciting thing was going home.
I Woke up at 6 am with
Mr Wood singing ‘good morning good morning we slept the whole night threw good morning good morning to you’ it was bloody annoying, then talked to Bauldrick aka Harry for a bit, which was probably the most exciting thing on camp! Then we had to sweep and i basically did everything, then Mr Becwith waults on in and leaves a trail of grass and god knows what else on our cabin floor when i confronted him about it he just said, ‘no it wasnt me because im a good person’ oh bullshivers i thought, i clearly saw the grass and whatever the other stuff was fall off his shoe!!! And then Mr Wood running around like a mad man with a broom, took awhile to get him for a final inspection, finally done we head to the hall dining thing. breakfast was the same, damn boring then bible crap even more boring the trip home was boring, having to sit next to Zak, which wouldnt be a bad thing if he hadn't kept saying ‘be like cool kids, like cool kids’ and it got worse at one stage he took his shirt off!! Finally got home, ahhhh got to relax.
