a memory poem is a poem that starts with ‘remember’

and does not rhyme.

a memory poem is when you write about a memory that is special or not special that you had in the past.

WINTERS MORNING

Remember

Waking up

Dreading  getting out of bed.

The coldness shaking you,

Making your teeth hit each other

The magic of winter making your nose numb.

Feet feeling like they’re about to fall off.

Going outside, ready to go to school.

Startled by how cold it is.

Arriving to school,

finally able to get inside,

Safe and warm.

That was a winter’s morning

Cloud Explorer
The cloud came from the sea.
He was not just any ordinary cloud.
You see he was a special type of cloud.
He was a cloud with a hunger to explore.
He most wanted to learn the life of a human.
So the more he explored the more he learnt.
The more he learnt the more he became.
